Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using any Luminary App Labs application ("Apps"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Our Apps
Luminary App Labs develops mobile and desktop applications including Forge, Plunge Tracker, Tempo, and Lighter. Our Apps are designed for personal, non-commercial use.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Apps on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the applicable app store terms.
Subscriptions and Pricing
Most of our Apps offer a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Lighter also includes a permanently free tier with core features, and Resonate Tuner is completely free with no subscription or in-app purchases. Pricing details are displayed within each App and on the respective app store listing. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
- Plunge Tracker: 7-day free trial, then $1.49/month or $9.99/year
- Forge: 14-day free trial, then $1.99/month or $14.99/year
- Tempo: 30-day free trial, then $1.49/month or $14.99/year
- Lighter: Free tier available; 7-day trial of premium features, then $0.99/month or $4.99/year
- Resonate Tuner: Free forever — no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Your Data
Our Apps store data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal data. You are responsible for backing up your own data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Apps
- Use our Apps for any unlawful purpose
- Redistribute or sublicense our Apps
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices in our Apps
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that our Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Our Apps are designed for general wellness and fitness tracking. They are not medical devices and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminary App Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Apps or website.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on our website. Continued use of our Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
